Capacity is the first lever: floor area, the number of seats and the ventilation rate all rise together, and roughly half the spread in any range follows from it. Sound reduction is the second — a higher measured figure means denser wall build-up, heavier glazing and better sealing, all of which add material cost. After that come ventilation and sensing, lighting and power fit-out, glazing area, finish and upholstery, whether the unit is movable, and the service terms: lead time, delivery, installation and warranty length.
